The Woodland Joint Unified School District Technology Department is responsible for all district technology planning, implementation and maintenance. The current network spans 21 sites with approximately 3300 computer, 50 Servers, and school site web servers. Each site is connected to the District office through a high speed fiber Wide Area Network. Through this network, student information and attendance files are kept current and accurate.
This network also provides server virtualization, site wireless access, Internet access, IP video surveillance, Voice over IP, and e-mail to all staff. Students have access to the Internet via classroom computers and site labs.
The Technology Department consists of the Director of Technology and four Technology Specialists.
